但隨著 Google 把 Android 上重要的新功能和最新的 API 都集中到 Google Play Services 中，然後把最新版的 Google Play Services 自動推送到用戶的手機上，那麼用戶有沒有升級到最新版的 Android 其實已經沒有那麼重要了。因為最新的系統特性、開發者可以調用的 API ，已經通過Google Play Services 主動送到用戶的手機上。
